Harbor Freight Standard Return Policy
If you are dissatisfied with an item purchased from Harbor Freight Tools for any reason, you can return it for a full refund or replacement within 90 days, whichever you prefer.
The limited warranty period begins on the date of purchase or order and ends 90 days thereafter. You must include a copy of your packing slip or order that includes the item.
Can You Return an Online Purchase to the Harbor Freight Store?
Within 90 days of purchase, online items can be exchanged or returned at any Harbor Freight Store location. Simply bring the item and the order packing slip or order to them, and they will gladly swap or refund your purchase. You need to provide a purchase receipt or packing slip.
If you do not have proof of purchase, please contact Customer Service at 1-800-444-3353 for a Return Authorization. Prepare to offer your order number as well as a brief explanation of why the item is being returned.
Pumps or Sprayers Returning Process
Certain pumps and sprayers cannot be returned to the store once they have been used for safety concerns.
You need to follow these steps before returning a pump or sprayer.
- Download the pump and sprayer return form (PDF)
- Refer to page 2 to verify that your product SKU or item number is listed
- If an item number is not listed then it can be returned to a store
- Complete the form and email it to pump_sprayers@harborfreight.com
Does Harbor Freight Charge any Restocking fee?
You may be charged a 20% restocking fee if you return an item. For further information, ask an employee or call Customer Service at 1-800-444-3353.
You won’t be charged a restocking fee if any of these conditions are met.
- The item is unopened and in new condition
- Item is exchanged for an upgraded product in the same category
- Item is replaced under an extended service plan
- Item is replaced under manufacturer warranty
What Is Harbor Freight Exchange Policy?
If you are not satisfied with the item or you purchased the wrong item, you can exchange it within 90 days of the purchase. You can exchange it online or at any Harbor Freight store location.
You must need to provide a copy of your packing slip or order with the item listed.
Harbour Freight Refund Policy
Your returned item will be refunded in the original form of the payment. If you paid by check or debit card, you will be given a cash refund. It is required to present a valid government-issued ID at the time of return. Some items are subject to a re-stocking fee.
